I cannot believe I am posting a grainy camera phone picture here. However, I do think that what the picture lacks in resolution, it makes up for in character. Woof!

Speaking of resolution -  I’m getting my new year’s resolutions ready for 2010…

Ok, now you can see the church off to the right where husband and I got married. I thought it would be such a *great* idea to get married in a historic little old church…until it was 95 degrees at ceremony time and there was no air conditioning!

The red building is the gift shop. I need to go over in the morning in order to get a good picture of the front of the church. I also need to stop taking photos of inanimate buildings.

The Wolcott House Museum decorated for Christmas – taken on the last good day before the temperature plummeted.

I remember all the school field trips we took to the Wolcott House when we were kids…what you can’t see in the picture is the little church on the museum grounds (off to the right) where my husband and I got married 18 years ago…waiting for another nice day to get some pictures of that.

Speaking of husband, he remarked that he did not understand the meaning of my last post title ( 365 – 146 = no way).  So I will explain for his benefit (and yours, if necessary!)  I started this blog to document my 365 photo project.  I was to post one picture per day for 365 days.  I had only posted 146 as of last week.  I will fall approximately 219 pictures short and there is no way I can cover the spread in one month.  I will try harder next year.  Sincerely yours, Christine

Wow. It has been more than a month since I posted here. I’m gonna fall WAY short of my 365 goal this year!

I took this picture of the new Art Tatum memorial outside the Lucas County Arena on my way home. Think the blue glow is neat. Turns out I lined it up just right next to the columns of the building behind it – and I didn’t even plan it that way.

It’s been just about a year since I started trying to take pictures every day. I fell of the wagon for a bit, and I still often let other things get in the way of working with the camera. I’ll keep trying, though. Thanks to everyone who visits and posts suggestions and comments. For 2010 I plan to continue this experiment!

took this a few days ago at Side Cut. Always think its interesting when clouds move in and the sky goes from light and cloudless to gray heavy clouds. The grass on the path was so green, even while everything else is beginning to turn to fall colors…

Took this the morning after that first frost about a week ago. As you look from left to right on the leaves, the frost had begun to melt and run off the leaves. This is my blueberry plant…should have used a tripod, its blurry!

Out in this brown, dried out field there is a patch of green grass under a tree. We wondered what the white structures were…at first I though they were headstones, but then my husband pointed out, “duh – they’re beehives.” I think he was right! We were so far away, it was hard to tell…this is a zoom shot and its still hard to tell for sure…the fall colors were so pretty.

Ok, I know I am about to be drummed out of the amateur photographer’s squad for not getting out with my camera more often! I’m letting the limitations of my fabulous pink point and shoot slow me down so I’ve been posting less often. I will try to correct this!

Out at Sidecut on Sunday for a 4 mile hike extravaganza…not sure what these plants were…red leaves on tall stems with light green undergrowth and the light filtering through…love the colors!
