Took this the morning after that first frost about a week ago. As you look from left to right on the leaves, the frost had begun to melt and run off the leaves. This is my blueberry plant…should have used a tripod, its blurry!

This came out a touch dark but otherwise is true to the amazing pink and purple sunset we had this evening…its rare to see the sky quite this vivid…
Glad we have tomorrow off for the holiday. Gong to a parade and community barbecue.

…Oh is there anything pink that I won’t buy? No, there isn’t. I splurged on these at Christmas and have been waiting for a chance to wear them out with the matching pink satin clutch I got at the same time. Finally got the chance on Saturday at the club.
Trying to do a macro that is not so close that you can’t tell it is a shoe…of all that I took, I think these do okay. Still working on lighting issues and am reading Light– Science & Magic : an Introduction to Photographic Lighting by Fil Hunter, Steven Biver and Paul Fuqua. Have I learned anything from it yet? You be the judge!

The light shines through these and lights them up – today was cloudy so they’re not as dazzling as they could have been – on a sunny day I could have rendered you blind with their spectacular rainbowy snazz-tacity.
If I can find anything in the colorful, rainbow version – that is what I will choose every time. When I started knitting I was looking for some needles and while I prefer the bamboo ones, I saw these and that was it. I got these instead.

Leftover yarn from a knitting project I did three years ago. The colors are terrific but the stuff sheds. I do more knitting in the spring and summer when I can sit outside with the dogs and work on things.
My photography inspiration level has been at about 50% for the last few days, so taking a close up of something so colorful was an easy way out…I’m looking for ideas for a photo project that will get my creativity going…any ideas?? I need ‘em!

Last night we went to our favorite Mexican Restaurant for dinner and they have the coolest chairs…I know my husband would make off with some if he could figure out how to get out the door with them, unseen. There are always some lined up outside the bathrooms.
Some guy saw me coming from the bathroom with the camera and gave me a look, so I got flustered and tried to hurry this photo …and I botched it completely. The colors are a little off and the picture is blurry, but it reminds me of the many times I’ve come out of that bathroom zazzed on margaritas – looks just like this!
